Advent Worship Night

Join us for an unplugged, candlelit evening as we center around the Advent themes of Joy and Love.

This is a chance to slow down and rest in contemplation. Traditional carols and songs sung in unison will be interwoven with readings and art. This is an open space of worship so feel free to join in song as well as bring journals to write or draw if you would like.

We will gather in the Family Room on the east side of the building.

November Potluck

Table fellowship was central to Jesus’ ministry—for the people invited, the relationships fostered, and the sacrifices made. We have recommitted to all aspects of this idea. We are a church that is becoming more intentional about sharing meals together for the purpose of getting to know and understand each other. The goal is for our entire church to catch the vision of table fellowship, with our own tables being a place where table fellowship is practiced as we share ourselves, our time, our goodwill, and our resources throughout our communities and the world.

In this spirit, we have begun a rhythm of Table Fellowship Events at Restoration. Next up is the November Potluck on the 24th, right after the morning gathering! Please bring your favorite dish to share and make sure to RSVP.

Bring a dish based on your last name:
A - M Main Dish

N – T Side Dish

U – Z Dessert

Baptism Sunday

Baptism is an important marker in or lives of apprenticing Jesus. If you are interested in taking this step, we would love to start a conversation. Please email Ryan, our Lead Pastor, if you would like more information.

As we value the significance of this decision, we will not be baptizing anyone spur of the moment on this day. Please let us know in advance if you would like to take this weighty and special step.

October Women's Gathering

A Conversation About Beauty

Join us for a deeper conversation among women about beauty with Alice Higbie, owner and founder of the award-winning St. James Tea Room in Albuquerque. Are God’s ways beautiful? Winsome? Do they work? What IS beauty? Is it worth considering?  Is it peripheral—nice if you can get it—or is it fundamental for those who would walk in this world as followers of Jesus? And how might the One who created beauty help His daughters to become “as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace," exhibiting the lovely fruit of His Spirit? Alice will give a presentation followed by time for questions and discussion. This is designed to be a conversation for all ages of women to discuss and connect on a deeper level. Please feel free to bring a friend. Coffee, tea, and a light breakfast will be served. Learn more about Alice and The St. James Tea Room: https://stjamestearoom.com/our-story/
